I'm in North Carolina

That's right, I escaped from NY for three days to visit my dad. Joseph was supposed to come also but he got stuck in traffic and couldn't make it to the airport on time. grrr....

I am enjoying my time with dad, although I am terribly exausted after the renovations at my store last week. Who wouldn't be... 12 straight days, the last four of those 14 hour days.

I'm not complaining. I love my new store. I feel very proud and lucky to have achieved what I have in just one year.

That's all for now.... time to rest so I can be up early and have a full day with my dad.

I'm back

Happy New Year!!

I don't have much leisure time these days, and so I haven't posted in a while.... for now, here's my update: work is going great, right now I'm working towards my free Mexican vacation, courtesy of my company. Things with Joseph are the same as always, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. I started going to the gym again this month, and almost fainted when I weighed myself. 135lbs. That's the heaviest I've ever been; and I know that's not exactly fat, but for my body and compared to my constant 120lbs in the past 5 years, 15lbs is a lot. Now I'm sweating to lose them.

I'll try to keep up with the posts whenever possible. Promise.

How will I survive?

That's what I'm asking myself these days. Fourth quarter is here, and I am so busy at work that I'm not even eating. I know that's a very bad thing, and I'm trying to control it, but I'm moving from the moment I get there and it's non-stop all day.

Ofcourse, as long as the store is busy and we're making lots of sales I'm happy. Especially since the company will send me to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in February as long as I make the fourth quarter goal. That's all I'm keeping my mind on..... hummm Mexico, here I come!

I just want to be sitting on a beach, having a drink and soaking in the sun. So much so, that I finally re-joined my gym and have been exercising. I want to look good when I'm lying on that beach, you know? **hehehe**

So I got an early birthday gift today; my dad sent me orchids, and they are beautiful. They are a beautiful lavender color, and I'm glad to have them since my white ones are not in bloom right now. Hopefully the new ones will also last a couple of months.

Number 33 is not so bad

Well, I got curious to find out how a search of my name would come up.... I tried google and got as far as 180 results with no mention of me, I gave up on google. Then I tried yahoo and my name came up as result number 33. I find the contrast in results very interesting. At least I know if someone's looking for me and happens to be using yahoo, they'll be able to find me.
