SPP and The Amero.... What?

Have you heard about the Amero, do you know what it is? When did this happen, where was I that I didn't hear about it? It's scary to think that the Dollar might seize to be, and in replacement we might have a "unifying" currency for the three North American Countries.... or shall I go ahead and call them the North American Union.

What is going on? Now after all the years of fear and controlled immigration we are moving towards a borderless Union? What, now all of a sudden all those "illegals" who supposedly come to "steal" our jobs are going to be our partners and we'll all be one big happy family? Who the hell is pulling these strings? First, they brainwash the American public to hate immigrants, specifically any immigration related to the Mexican borders; now, they are going to brainwash you again to have this lovy-dovy openness with Mexico, including our borders and commerce. What is going on?

And a North American Union is being formed by the three presidents...... ummm, without our approval or that of congress? What, now Bush is going to decide that we are not US citizens anymore and this new "country", sorry, Union is the way to go? I should go ahead and call it by its proper name: The Security and Prosperity Partnership. Sounds really nice, doesn't it? Well, if you ask me George Bush has done nothing but compromise our Security and Prosperity from day 1.

But what do I know, I'm just a citizen.

iPhone is coming

That's right, iPhone will be available next Friday. And I can't have one, grrrrr.

I can't spend the money right now, but I sure wish I could. I just love gadgets and getting them early is such a high! I want to figure out a way to buy it.... maybe if I sell stuff on e-bay I can get some $$ for my iPhone. hmm.

Rain, rain, go away

It's been raining for three days in San Juan. Bummer. I just hope that the rain will be over by Friday, since I'm taking Friday and Saturday off. I'm so excited to have two consecutive days off! I think we should go out and shop for some furniture and then hit the beach. I think we may go to the rainforest on Saturday with Heath... that will be fun (eventhough it will be my 5th or 6th trip up the mountain).

I have to remember to call Emile on Saturday to wish her a happy birthday. She's having a birthday party that night... ::sigh:: I wish I could go to NY and go out with her, she's so much fun. I also have to make time to call Louis; he called me last week and I still haven't called him back, yickes!

Post Family Visit

Wow, what a week...

Joseph came back from Hawaii (finally...), two days later my dad arrived, two days after that my brother and niece came in from Phoenix and three days later Josephs two kids flew down from NY. Needless to say, it was a busy, crowded couple of weeks. And I had a blast!!

It was great to have my dad visit again. And I got to spend lots of time with my niece... I just love her.

Now, everyone's been gone for a couple of weeks already (except for Joseph); the apartment's quiet again, and we're already thinking about a trip up to NY in June and bringing my family back to Christmas. That would be exciting!
